May his name endure forever;
may it continue as long as the sun.
Then all nations will be blessed through him,
and they will call him blessed.
Given the poor and complicated state of today’s affairs a lot of people are hoping that this system is ended and that the golden age that will be the millennium comes once and for all . The time when this will happen is very close but we will never be able to establish exactly when because “of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” At that time the world will enjoy peace like it has never had except for the time before the fall of man. To begin with , the enemy of God and humanity will be bound for a thousand years with heavy chains that will keep him from doing what he does best: to deceive and destroy. As was noted by the prophet Zechariah, at that time “The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew. I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people. How attractive and beautiful they will be! Grain will make the young men thrive, and new wine the young women.”
But for mankind to enjoy this incomparable blessing it must first declare Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives, something that many prefer not to do out of mere fear and ignorance or because of simple skepticism. People are so used to being deceived that everybody doubts the truth and believes all kind of lies, blindly and with astonishing ease . No wonder, since they are slaves to deceit. Let us carry the glorious message of the gospel of God to all parts of the world within our reach. Irrespective of how much they try, people will not enter this era of peace and joy unless they do it through the Lord Jesus; and although many have heard of him, few have had a personal encounter, face to face and heart to heart with him. Share this message of hope with everyone you know so that they too have a chance to enter the millennial kingdom. To God alone be the glory! Matthew 24:36
